2015 Annual Meeting of Keen Right Law Firm Ends with Great Success

On January 28, 2016, Shanghai Keen Right Law Firm successfully held the 2015 Annual Meeting at Shanghai Municipality Culture Club. The meeting took the theme of “One Hand and One Heart towards 2016”. It not only reflected the cohesion and endeavors of all the staff in the past year but also their best wishes for the new year. All the staff including those from Shanghai office as well as Jiangyin office (in preparation) attended the meeting to conclude 2015 and welcome 2016.

At four o’clock in the afternoon, with lively warm music, every staff signed their name on the signature tree and left their fingerprints for memory. It was not only to show their pride as a staff of Keen Right abut also to extend their best wishes for Keen Right.

Then came the first part of the meeting: summary and commendation. As Ms Song hosted the meeting, the chief director Haixia Xu gave the opening speech. She led the attendees to look back on what they have been through in 2015 and then look forward to the future. In the past year, Keen Right has been transformed from an individual law firm to a partnership law firm. A general partner and two associates joined the firm. Shanghai office was selected in Shanghai Tower and its decoration has been completed. Preparation work for Jiangyin office was very successful and has been put into use… The past 2015 was a year of great success.

For the coming year 2016, Ms Xu wished that all the staff strove for greater success, balanced their work and life, and kept fit and healthy. After that, the staff gave brief self-introduction. The newly joined partner Mr. Zhen Zhang and two junior associates shared their thoughts about their first year in legal practice.
Then came the commendation part. Three senior partners presented awards to those who were recognized as the best partner, best pending partner and best paralegal, etc. All the awards were undoubtedly encouragement and recognition for those who have been working hard in the past year. Meanwhile, encouragement awards were presented to other staff.

In the end, senior partner Minfei Chen gave closing speech. He acknowledged the diligence and excellence of every staff as they not only did good job but also overcame the difficulty of noisy environment and deficiency of supporting facilities in the temporary office. In addition, Mr. Chen emphasized that work was only part of our life and wished all the staff to find their pace and live their best.

After the meeting, all the staff had dinner together. At dinner, they talked, laughed and also enjoyed an exciting lucky drawing game.
After dinner, all the staff went to sing in KTV. Everyone changed their serious outlook as they always were at work and sang out their best songs. It was a moment with melodious songs, joyful memories of the past year and expectation for great prospect in the coming year.
